State-of-the-art testing and measuring technology

State-of-the-art testing and measurement technology. Quality assurance plays a central role in our factories. Every single component must meet the highest standards to ensure the safety, durability, and performance of our products. Therefore, we rely on state-of-the-art testing and measurement technology, which enables comprehensive monitoring of all production steps. Using high-precision measuring methods, we ensure that deviations are detected and corrected at an early stage. We use both proven procedures and innovative technologies to guarantee seamless control and documentation of our manufacturing processes. Our goal is to ensure consistently high quality and meet the increasing demands of our customers through continuous improvement and the use of state-of-the-art measurement technology.

Diverse measuring techniques for maximum accuracy

Diverse measuring techniques for maximum accuracy. For precise component measurement, we rely on a combination of proven and innovative measuring methods. These enable precise and reliable analysis of component geometries as well as comprehensive material testing. Ultrasonic testing and 3D metrology, in particular, offer significant advantages for both us and our customers:

  • Non-destructive testing – enables the inspection of components without compromising their structure
  • High precision – even the smallest material defects, cracks, or inclusions can be detected
  • Versatile applicability – suitable for a wide range of materials and component sizes
  • Fast results – enables efficient quality control in series production

These include:

  • Measuring gauges and function gauges for quickly verifying defined dimensions and functions
  • Optical inspection machines for automated, high-precision inspection in series production
  • Industrial 3D coordinate measuring technology according to international standards for the precise determination of complex geometries

Highest precision through optical 3D measuring technology

GOM ATOS III Triple Scan: A particularly innovative component of our quality assurance is GOM’s optical 3D measuring technology. Here, we primarily use the GOM ATOS III Triple Scan, a state-of-the-art 3D measuring device suitable for components ranging in size from a few millimeters up to 2.5 meters.

The Carl Zeiss GOM T-SCAN Hawk: A state-of-the-art mobile 3D measuring system designed for flexible and precise measurements. It combines laser technology with optical precision and is ideal for inspecting complex geometries and hard-to-reach areas. Its compact design and ease of use make it an ideal tool for use directly in production.

Advantages of 3D metrology

  • Highest measurement accuracy – even on complex or reflective surfaces
  • Faster measurement times – by reducing the number of individual scans required
  • Detailed 3D scans – for seamless capture of the component geometry

Thanks to this advanced technology, we can precisely capture even complex surfaces and detect even the smallest deviations early on.

High-precision material testing using an ultrasonic testing system

The PHAsisNEO ultrasonic testing system: This system uses state-of-the-art ultrasonic technology for non-destructive material testing. It enables the precise detection of material defects, cracks, or cavities inside a component without damaging the surface. This allows even minimal defects to be detected and corrected early.

Quality assurance at the highest level

The quality of our products is our top priority, and by using state-of-the-art testing and measurement technology, we ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all stages of production. Each phase of production is accompanied by precise measurement procedures to detect potential deviations at an early stage and initiate corrective measures. This enables seamless control of component quality – from the initial production stage to the final product.

Our combination of optical inspection machines, conventional measuring gauges, state-of-the-art 3D metrology with GOM technology, the PHAsisNEO ultrasonic inspection system, and the Carl Zeiss GOM T-SCAN Hawk offers a comprehensive and reliable quality assurance solution. Optical systems capture high-precision surface structures, while the ultrasonic inspection system analyzes deeper material structures and detects even the smallest defects. Mobile 3D metrology also allows us to perform measurements flexibly and efficiently directly on the production line.

By combining these state-of-the-art testing methods, we not only achieve exceptionally high accuracy but also increased efficiency in production. In this way, we ensure that our products meet the most demanding technical and quality requirements and that our customers receive the best possible quality at all times.
